1975 ‘Wonder Woman’ TV Pilot Opening

Chad once mentioned on the podcast that as a child watching ‘Wonder Woman’ on TV, he never realized it was a period piece. Maybe it was the disco music, maybe it was the scantily-clad heroine who would have caused a scandal in 1942 running around in a revealing bustier and star-spangled diaper. But in the opening of the pilot episode of the series starring Lynda Carter, he would have gotten some helpful historical context: a newsreel style sum-up of the era, with WWII raging across Europe, and even a bad FDR imitator extolling the need for Wonder Woman. Here is the opening sequence for the pilot episode of ‘Wonder Woman’.
